Introduction

Reinarte Checkers is a classic strategy game designed for solitary enjoyment or competition against AI opponents. Your goal is to capture all your opponent's pieces or block them from moving, thereby securing victory. This solitaire chess variant blends elements of chess, match-3, and battleship for a unique gaming experience.

Step-by-Step Gameplay

1. Setup: Place your pieces on the board, with each piece starting in one of the rows closest to your side. The board is divided into alternating light and dark squares.
2. Turns: On your turn, select a piece to move. You can move a piece diagonally forward to an adjacent empty square. Capturing an opponent's piece is possible if a piece of the opposite color is diagonally one square away and another empty square follows.
3. Captures: If a capture is possible, you can "jump" over the opponent's piece to an empty square immediately beyond. The jumped piece is removed from the board.
4. Doubled Moves: If a piece reaches the opposite side of the board, it can be "promoted" to a "knight" piece, which has a unique movement pattern.
5. Winning: The game ends when all of your opponent's pieces are captured or they are unable to make a move. Capturing the opponent's king piece or blocking all their pieces will lead to victory.
