UNO Card Game
How to Play
Introduction
Welcome to the classic card game, UNO! A game of simple rules and endless fun, perfect for players of all ages. Whether you're playing with friends or challenging yourself alone, UNO Friends is an engaging experience that combines ease of play with strategic depth.
Gameplay
UNO is a fast-paced, turn-based game where the goal is to be the first player to discard all of your cards. Here's how to play:
- Setup: Each player starts with a hand of seven cards. Shuffle the remaining deck and place it face-down in the center of the play area.
- Starting the Game: The player to the left of the dealer starts, and play continues clockwise.
- Playing Cards: On your turn, you must play a card that matches the color or the number of the card on the top of the discard pile. If you cannot play a card, you must draw a card from the draw pile.
- Special Cards: Certain cards have special abilities:
- Skip: Skips the next player's turn.
- Reverse: Changes the direction of play.
- Draw Two: Forces the next player to draw two cards.
- Wild: Allows you to choose the color for that turn. If you play a Wild Draw Four card, the next player must draw four cards and also play a card of the chosen color.
- Winning the Game: The game ends when a player runs out of cards. The winner is the player with the lowest score, calculated by adding up the numbers on the cards left in the losers' hands, plus any cards they've drawn during the game.

FAQ
How do I play UNO?
Each player tries to get rid of all cards in their hand before the others by playing cards matching the current color or the number. Special cards like Skip or Reverse can change the game flow.
What are the rules for special cards in UNO?
Special cards like Skip, Reverse, and Draw 2 must be played immediately when you have one in your hand. You can't hoard them until later in the game.
Can I play any card when it's my turn?
You can play any card that matches the current color or is a 0 (wild or wild draw 4), regardless of number or color. The game changes when you play a special card.
How do I win UNO?
The first player to get rid of all their cards wins the game. If no one can play, the player with the lowest number of cards wins if they have any remaining. Otherwise, it's a tie.
What do the numbers on the cards signify?
Numbers 0 through 9 in each color represent points. The number indicates how many points are scored against a player if they are the last one to play a card. Wild cards can be used to change the color and are worth 50 points.
